I have set up Steele Projects to provide end to end project management services building our future communities.
Supporting this I am the Managing Director of the Navigation Homes BOP Franchise and I am providing project management consultancy services throughout the Bay of Plenty.
I have more than 10 years’ experience in project and contract management in the construction industry after starting my carrier on the tools as an electrician.
My advancement from Electrician to Field Coordinator to Project Manager led me to managing the Downer Bay of Plenty Water Division.
As the Downer Bay of Plenty Water Contract Manager I gained valuable experience in terms of business, staff management and leadership whilst attaining a more comprehensive understanding of the 3 Waters network and systems.
In my time managing the Tauranga 3 Waters Maintenance Contract I sustainably grew the staff numbers and revenue by 40%, implemented a new capital works construction division, negated industrial action and delivered a $4 million emergency project as Project Manager of the Taupo Lakefront Emergency Repair. We also re-won the contract for a further 10 years.
Over the course of my career, I have acquired extensive leadership and management experience combined with key technical knowledge in a wide spectrum of engineering operations, risk management and critical asset maintenance projects.
